  Story writing is an important writing skill which carries 10 marks .

HOW TO WRITE STORY STEP BY STEP 

>Remember that the whole literature is based on illusion, pleasure and truth. Decide what feelings you want to arouse in the reader's mind 

>First paragraph should be very catchy which captures the reader's interest. So, it should be unusual and unexpected.

>Always a lively and multifaceted characters and give them qualities according to your plot Decide who is going to narrate the story because a story has a narrator .

>Include some meaningful dialogues . Let the readers understand the personality of your characters through them.

>Create conflict and tense atmosphere because it is said that in literature only trouble is interesting . Build a climax. The main character understands what has been seen before, and realizes what must be done, or finally decides to do it .

>Conclusion- The main character may win or may lose exposing the reality of society.

Complete the 150-200 word story that begins as follows: There was a joint family of six, including grandparents. It was Grandma's 75th birthday and the family planned to celebrate ………

There was a joint family of six, including grandparents. It was Grandma's 75th birthday and the family planned to celebrate it with a surprise party. The family began to go out to make preparations and since it was supposed to be a surprise, they left their grandmother alone at home. As the big day approached, Grandma began to feel isolated and alone. He believed that since they were all caught up in their own affairs, they had forgotten his birthday. He felt sad but never expressed it to anyone. On her birthday, no one wanted her. They all started to prepare and told him that they had their own respective plans. Grandpa asked him to walk with him. It was all part of his plan. Grandpa took the route to the place and didn't make it seem in a way that would make her suspicious. Upon arriving at the scene, the lights suddenly came on and everyone shouted "Happy Birthday." Grandma was overwhelmed and tears of love rolled down her eyes. This was the happiest birthday ever.
